Keith, in your last update, you shared your personal struggle with the addictive habit of smoking and how you have overcome this awful threat to your health. Every time I hear a story such as yours, I am so happy! Whenever I see individuals smoking, I want to run up to them and tell them, show them, what smoking can ultimately do to them! You see, I can personally attest to the lost of good health to smoking. Three years ago, my husband was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer. He had been a smoker from the time he was 15 yrs old! He was given, possibly 1 year to live! It will be three years next month that he was diagnosed.With God's grace, he is still with me today! Since I joined Fruta Vida, I have frequently thought about how this product may have changed his circumstances had it been available four or five years ago. One will never know... However, I do know that Fruta Vida is giving my husband energy and stamina during the debilitating chemo treatments that he is receiving right now. I initially got the juice for him... to boost his immune system, and give him the powerful antioxidants that are so important for a cancer patient. He insisted that I start drinking it too! Anyone who has been the caregiver for a terminal cancer patient knows firsthand the overwhelming physical and emotional drain it can bring. FV has definitely made a difference in my energy level and how I am able to handle day to day stress. As for my husband, I can only report that his cancer is being killed off by the chemo, and perhaps FV is also contributing in that process. That we will never know, but I feel the quality of his life has been enhanced by him taking the juice! I have noticed changes after taking Fruta Vida for a short time. My energy level is up; I have lost some weight, and I rarely get those nasty night sweats now, etc. Here's the best part... A couple of years ago, I burnt myself on the iron (on the top of my arm ). At first, I just ignored it, and carried on with what I was doing. A short time later, it got worst, so I dealt with it (cold water). Within the week, it had become quite infected, so I got some stuff for it and got it cleaned up.Afterwards, I was left with a nasty scar (about the size of a twoonie), and the appearance was quite purplish. A few day's after starting it, I anxiously waited for the buzz or better sleep, or anything, Nothing. I drive to New York City & back to Boston 5 day's per week. I usually stop halfway to & from NYC for a quick snack, and I might have a sandwich in NYC. Then I began to skip the stops because I wasn't hungry.
